The Gomoa East District Assembly, in partnership with the Nana Ba Charity Foundation, has announced a major Job Fair and Instant Job Offer initiative aimed at creating employment opportunities for the youth and residents within the district.

The event, scheduled for 29th April 2026 at the Gomoa East District Assembly premises, is expected to attract job seekers from across the district and beyond. The exercise will provide opportunities in several sectors including heavy-duty driving, security services, artisan work, factory employment, as well as opportunities for specialised degree and master’s degree holders.

Speaking on the initiative, the District Chief Executive, Hon. Margaret Naana Ackom, emphasized the Assembly’s commitment to reducing unemployment and improving livelihoods through strategic partnerships. She noted that the programme forms part of efforts to empower the youth and support economic growth in the district.

The Member of Parliament for Gomoa East Constituency, Hon. Desmond Degraft Paitoo, also expressed support for the programme and encouraged young people to take advantage of the opportunity to secure employment and build sustainable careers.

Residents and job seekers have been encouraged to attend the fair with their application documents and relevant qualifications for possible instant recruitment.
